As a woman in a male dominated field Anna had nothing but admiration for the groundbreaking women of the San Diego Chapter of WAI, whose cause both celebrates the pioneering female aviators of the past and champions the cause of bringing new young women to the skies. She thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with them on their gala to raise money for Girls in Aviation Day.
